Bias Cut Silk Information

Natural white, 100% Silk -full spools or small cuts, ready to dye! If you are not familiar with bias cut silk ribbon, it is ribbon cut on the bias directly from bolts of fabric. It is lovely, fun to work with and makes a wonderful addition to all types of Ribbon Embroidery, Knitting, Quilting and Fiber Arts as well as being great for lining clothing and millinery because it stretches around edges nicely.

We carry two types of bias cut silk; Silk Habotai/China Silk (regular), a lightweight, thin weave, flowy silk and also Silk Satin, which has a glossy sheen finish to the top and is a little heavier weight, but still soft and flowy.

    100% Silk Satin bias cut ribbon in black.  A little bit heavier weight than the habotai, has a shiny top surface and is luxuriously soft and flowy - available by-the-yard or on full spools/bolts of 35 yards total. Sizes available: 1", 2" and 4".
